Pearl Series Structure

The NZB Insurance 2024 Pearl Series provides bonuses to the winners of 200 2yo, 3yo, 4yo, and 5yo races of each series, comprising up to 100 races per season. Further Pearl Series enhancements are:

•  Each race now carries a total $26,000 stake bonus

• Trainer and Nominator bonuses have also doubled, now at $1,000 each

• $100,000 Series Final Race Bonus, run in the Autumn, and a travel subsidy for Southern and Central District horses who qualify

The races in the series are open to horses which are not nominated to the NZB Insurance Pearl Series. However, only those horses nominated to the series will qualify for the bonus, as follows:

A single level of bonus for 2YOs, 3YOs, 4YOs and 5YOs

Winners
NZB Insurance Pearl Series bonuses will be paid to the connections of the eligible winning filly or mare on the following basis:

• $20,000 (plus applicable GST) to the owner of the filly or mare

• $1000 (plus applicable GST) to the trainer of the filly or mare

• $1000 (plus applicable GST) to the nominator of the filly or mare

2nd Placegetters
NZB Insurance Pearl Series bonus will be paid to the connections of the eligible 2nd placed filly or mare on the following basis:

• $4,000 (plus applicable GST) to the owner of the filly or mare

3rd Placegetters
NZB Insurance Pearl Series bonus will be paid to the connections of the eligible 3rd placed filly or mare on the following basis:

•  $2,000 (plus applicable GST) to the owner of the filly
